Russian retailers launch sales of Apple’s new iPhone 6s, 6s Plus
MOSCOW, Oct 9 (PRIME) -- Russian retailers started on Friday sales of Apple’s new smartphones iPhone 6s and 6s Plus with the price starting from 56,990 rubles.
The iPhone 6s with 16 gigabytes (GB) of memory costs 56,990 rubles, the value-added tax included; 64 GB – 65,990 rubles and 128 GB one amounts to 74,990 rubles. The iPhone 6s Plus has a price tag of 65,990 rubles for 16 GB; 74,990 rubles for 64 GB and 83,990 rubles for 128 GB, Apple said.
Domestic seller Svyaznoy launched sales of Apple gadgets in its online and offline stores late on Thursday, and citizens of the country’s Far East were the first ones to be able to buy the devices.
Sales in Moscow and the Moscow Region started at night to Friday in four Svyaznoy stores.
Many retailers had accepted preorders for the new devices prior to the official launch.
